Jianlei Peter Shi

Investor, entrepreneur, engineer and educator.
Peter holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and has 14 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and worked for top companies like S3 Graphics, Qualcomm, Intel, and Apple. As a seasoned veteran in the field of real estate investing, he has explored different types of real estate investments and in 2018 he ventured into commercial real estate syndication—a powerful investment structure that offers the benefits of true passive investing, including strong cash flow and appreciation upside. Collaborating with industry experts and leveraging tax benefits through cost segregation, Peter has found great success in this investment avenue. Motivated to share his exciting discoveries, he founded Financial Peace Investing with the mission of making real estate syndication investing accessible and easy for the average person. Outside of his professional endeavors, Peter is the principle of Sunshine youth academy and enjoys homeschooling his two boys with his wife. Together, they have also initiated Shine & Impact! Sunshine Ministry, an education ministry focused on equipping the next generation to lead impactful lives by inspiring excellence and building character through summer camps, academic courses and service projects. Since 2018, Peter and his family have been residing in Austin, Texas.
